Happy New Year and Happy February Dashers! It feels good to be back. My break was much needed, but I have to say that it was hard not to post. For the most part, I did it. During the month of January, I had much time to purge, reflect, spend time with God, and be creative.
During January, my church has a 21-Day fast called Solemn Assembly. The fast is the Daniel Fast on steroids, no meat or animal products, and no sweets. I found it especially difficult because it was a high carb diet for me, and Keto was out the window. To the other extreme was, without the carbs, my sugar would drop low. Nevertheless, I was able to push through to the end. I must say that I feel better spending valuable time with God, purging and receiving renewal insight.
With 2022, one month down, I’ve decided for the first time, not to make any New Year’s resolutions. I’ve decided to continue to be creative, working on my content creation and taking direction from God. If it is the Lord’s will, I have exciting things coming this year and I cannot wait to see things come to fruition.
In a future post, I will be talking about purging and renewal. We must purge those things and those people who mean us no good and stunt our spiritual, mental, physical, and financial growth. We must commit to always changing in ways that will elevate us. I’m all for self-care if it is put into its proper prospective.
As always, if you are a “Dasher”, a woman over the age of fifty, that would like to pour into other dashers with knowledge and inspiration, please feel free to contact me so that I can have you on the platform. I’d love to have a conversation with you as we educate and inspire other fifty-plus and fabulous women.
Until next time, Be Blessed!
